Putnam City Schools Department of Indian Education
Working Together For Indian Youth

Putnam City’s Indian Education Program is funded through federal grants known as Title VII and Johnson O’Malley. A variety of services and programs are available to Putnam City Native American students who are enrolled in the Indian Education Program. Program components include:

  • Tutoring
  • Student Advisement
  • Cultural Activities
  • Lending Library
  • Native American Clubs
  • Parent Committee
  • Student Education Fund

The Putnam City Indian Education Program is coordinated by a staff comprised of a director, tutor coordinator, tutors, student advisor, and cultural coordinator/project secretary.
