Low Taxes for Support of Putnam City Schools
Most of property taxes that support public schools are locked by law at a certain level. There is one category of property taxes for school support, though, that can be increased or decreased. This category is known as "sinking fund mills."
Compared to many school districts, taxes paid by Putnam City residents for their schools are low. (Information is for fiscal year 2007.)
