General Excellence
- For 14 consecutive years, Putnam City Schools has been selected as one of the top school systems in the nation as a recipient of the SchoolMatch "What Parents Want Award"
- 61 teachers in the district have National Board Certification
- Teachers and administrators consistently recognized across the state and nation as leaders in their fields
- 28.3 percent of district teachers have advanced degrees (masters or doctorates)

- 99 Academic All-Staters in 21 years, more than any other school district in Oklahoma
- One of the state’s highest number of Oklahoma Academic Scholars over the past five years
- 201 National Merit Finalists in the last 21 years, one of the highest totals in Oklahoma
- More than $5.5 million in scholarships accepted by our 2007 graduates
- ACT scores above state and national averages
- Students at Putnam City’s three high schools in spring 2007 earned 2,311 hours of college credit and saved as much as $431,000 in college costs by taking advanced placement (AP) courses and passing AP tests
Technology
- A fiber-optic districtwide computer network that links computers in every classroom.
- A computer in each classroom offering Internet access, e-mail, and attendance and gradebook software

- Leading-edge application of technology, including wireless laptop labs, electronic teaching board and keyboarding instruction for elementary students

- More than 6,700 PTA members across the distrct, and active Parent-Teacher Associations in every school
- Parents, grandparents and business people volunteer more than 150,000 hours in our schools every year
- Strong history of supporting school bond elections, allowing Putnam City to have some of the finest school facilities in the area
