Professional Development Center
Putnam City’s Professional Development Center (PDC) is a spacious, well-equipped resource teachers may use to obtain and/or prepare materials for their classrooms.
Services
Lamination
Teachers laminate bulletin board materials, maps, charts, folders and a wide variety of other resources. Laminating machines will laminate materials up to 40 inches wide.
Die Cuts
The PDC has many hundreds of die cuts available in many sizes. The collection includes 10 alphabets of various sizes and styles.
Black and White Copies
You may copy your materials in the PDC.
Color Copies
The PDC now has a color copier available for teachers to create classroom materials, workshop materials and more.
Posters
Bring your already designed and printed black and white flyer and enlarge it. Posters vary in size depending on your original. There are several colors of paper from which to choose.
Buttons
Make birthday buttons, button name tags, buttons to sell as fundraisers and more. Two sizes of buttons can be produced at the PDC – 2 3/8" and 3".
Book Binding
Comb-bind your teaching resources, workshop materials and more.
Supplies
We have paper, folders, markers, stickers, pencils, posterboard and many more supplies.
Costs
Your principal can tell you how costs of services are handled at your building.
Location
The PDC is located at the west end of the Putnam City Center. The address is 5604 N.W. 41st, but the entrance faces Grove Avenue. Parking is across Grove Avenue to the west.

Who May Use the PDC
The PDC is most commonly used by teachers, but may be used by any district employee. PTA members and school volunteers may also use the PDC with proper authorization.
