The deadline for nominations for the fall Golden Apple Awards is Wednesday, Nov. 1. The awards are presented twice a year to employees and volunteers who promote excellence in education.

Any employee, patron or student may nominate someone for the awards. For their service and dedication to district students, each Golden Apple Award-winner receives a brass apple and a check for $200.

The awards are sponsored by the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation.
