Because of her passion for helping children achieve bright futures, Julie Jenison joined the school board in February 2001. She was elected to a second five-year term in 2006. She and her husband, Jerry, have one son, Jay, who attends Putnam City North High School. Julie has chaired a number of PTA committees and held several PTA offices, including president. She and her family are active members of New Covenant Christian Church, where she currently serves as board secretary.

Sue Sullivan has been a member of Putnam City’s board of education since February 1996. Her priority is the best possible education for all Putnam City students. It’s a priority that stems from her career as a teacher. Sullivan taught American history in Putnam City schools for 25 years, first for eight years at Putnam City High School and then for 17 years at Putnam City North High School. She retired from teaching in May 1995.

Sullivan has three children, all graduates of Putnam City High School, and three grandchildren. She attends Church of the Servant United Methodist Church.

Becky Haliburton joined the school board in February 2008. Haliburton has held numerous PTA positions in the district, including president of the Putnam City PTA Council and president of PTAs at Will Rogers Elementary and Hefner Middle School. Becky and her husband, Tracey, have two children who attend Hefner Middle School. She and her family are active in the North MacArthur Church of Christ.

Jerry Cramer joined the board in March 2004. Cramer has been part of the district as a student, teacher, administrator, parent and grandparent.

In February 2005, Gail LoPresto began her third term on the board of education. She was elected in July 1997 and ran unopposed in 2000 and 2005. LoPresto's advocacy for children began when she was expecting her first child in 1978 when Oklahoma City Public Schools was threatening to close the neighborhood school. She has been actively involved in PTA for the past 16 years, serving as president of the Mayfield Middle School PTA for two years. An Oklahoma State University graduate, LoPresto works as a financial assistant for a local energy company.
